Renovations and Reuse of former Vac Pac Building

B&R is excited to have joined up with Architect Design collective and master developer, Caves Valley Partners on the design for the renovation and reuse of the former Vac Pac Building.

The project is being designed into two phases. The first being an adaptive use of an existing 30,000 square foot, four-story building at 150 West Ostend Street to provide ground floor retail space with three levels of office space above. Phase one will also include a 13,500 square foot six-story common core addition.

The second phase will be the design of a new 72,000 SF, 6-story building at 160 W. Ostend St. with ground floor retail and five levels of office space above. The project will include new M/E/P services and utilities and will be designed as a cold dark shell with fit out provided for core area lobbies and toilet rooms.

B&R is providing design and consulting for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing services and utilities. The project will be designed in accordance with the International Green Construction Code requirements.
