Tuesday, Oct 28, 2014

B&R Construction Services is providing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering Design and Consulting Services for a new production building for general contractor, Energy Plus Group, for Tobacco Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in Eldersburg, MD.

The project, being designed by architect Dean Robert Camlin & Associates, Inc, is a new 21,000 square foot building with a production area along with offices and future expansion space. The building is designed with a geothermal ground source heat pump HVAC system with energy recovery ventilators and indoor air handling units to maximize the mechanical system efficiency, while meeting the buildings temperature control requirements. The design also includes special filtration and pressurization for the nicotine and production spaces to eliminate potential product contamination.

B&R is providing MEP Engineering design services, working with Energy Plus Group and their sub contractors, to provide a complete, detailed and coordinated design based on the owner’s requirements and budgets. Construction on the project will begin in November and is anticipated to commence in the summer of 2015.
